Full dental implants

Dental implants give the basis of many different solutions for edentous patients. One choice would be dental implants and a removable prosthesis the other a dental implant and a fixed bridge. All cases are different. During the examination we evaluate the bone and the soft tissue structures (gum, lip line, upper and lower jaw relations, etc.)

Dental implants can stabilise the lower denture even on a reduced bone structure. On the other hand we can create new bone with different types bone augmentation techniques.

If a denture is stabilised by the dental implant a new denture has to be made that fits the dental implants.

The stabilisation of the lower denture can be made with two implants and with ball attachements.

The two ball attachement solution is not suitable on the upper arch.

The second level of the denture's fixation is when the dentist places in 4 dental implants (upper or lower jaw). On the implants we make a bar structure. This will fix the denture. In the upper arch we can reduce the palatal part. This gives a much higher life quality. If the tongue can attach to the palat the patient can feel the tastes of food normally.

6-8 dental implants give the opportunity of a fixed bridge. This solution provides the same feeling like the natural teeth.
